Transcriptions of all the Dead Sea Scrolls manuscripts regarding the Book of Jonah should now be up on the website.
There are five manuscripts in total: Wadi Murabba’at (MurXII), Nahal Hever Greek Minor Prophets (8HevXIIgr), 4Q76a (4QXIIa), 4Q81f (4QXIIf), and 4Q82g (4QXIIg). Pretty much nearly every single word of the Book of Jonah is extant. Well, at least every verse is accounted for

I have now uploaded PDF’s of the text of Zephaniah as found in the Dead Sea Scrolls manuscripts: Wadi Murabba’at; Nahal Hever Greek Minor Prophets 8HevXIIgr; 4Q77b/4QXIIb; 4Q78c/4QXIIc; and 4Q82g/4QXIIg. That’s now 4 of the 12 Minor Prophets completed, all with comparisons against the accepted text of the Greek Septuagint and Masoretic Hebrew

Nahal Hever Greek Minor Prophets 8HevXIIgr
4Q77b/4QXIIb
4Q78c/4QXIIc
4Q82g/4QXIIg
(As a little funny aside, I was reading along in The Dead Sea Scrolls Bible as I was doing Zephaniah, and in their introduction to Zephaniah, the scholars who did the translation start off with “The four short chapters of Zephaniah are well attested in the scrolls…” The funny thing is, there’s actually only three chapters in Zephaniah, not four

All of the Dead Sea Scrolls Scriptural manuscripts regarding the text of the book of Habakkuk should now be online on the Research Page in PDF form.
There is an extensive Pesher text on the Book of Habakkuk (probably the largest Pesher text on one of the Minor prophets found at Qumran) which I may put online in the future, although there is a translation of the actual text in the Pesher to be found in Geza Vermes The Complete Dead Sea Scrolls In English for people to read
Anyway, here are the direct links:
Wadi Murabba’at Habakkuk
4Q82g Habakkuk
Nahal Hever Greek Minor Prophets 8HevXIIgr Habakkuk

Another new section added to The Way to Yahuweh about 5 minutes ago – Dead Sea Scrolls
On this new page I shall to begin with be putting up PDF files containing transcriptions of the text as seen in the Dead Sea Scrolls, all of which will follow the following format:
Section 1 of the PDF: The text of the Book in question in Chapter and Verse order
Section 2 of the PDF: The text of the Book in question as a direct transcription as seen in the actual scroll from whence it came
Section 3 of the PDF: A comparison between either the Masoretic and the Dead Sea Scroll’s Hebrew text, or between the Greek Septuagint and Dead Sea Scroll’s Greek text, with differences between them highlighted
As it happens, I’ve already completed one PDF to go up – The Hebrew text of the Book of Micah as found in the Wadi Murabba’at Minor Prophets Scroll
It would be remiss if I didn’t mention that this is the only place on the internet where you can download and read a free transcription of some of the text seen in the Wadi Murabba’at Minor Prophet’s Scroll.
Despite being over 60 years since their discovery, the text from the Dead Sea Scrolls are not easy to come by, which is a dreadful shame.
I am seeking to rectify such a hazardous negligence

But as I said before, I’m now going to be concentrating on looking at the manuscripts found among the caves of Qumran (Dead Sea Scrolls), so check back here soon for some stuff regarding them

My apologies for the downtime that TWTY suffered this weekend.
Unfortunately, someone was engaged in a DDoS attack on the British server that the website is hosted on, so every website on this server was affected. Thankfully they appear to have sorted out the problem, and we are now back up and running
Sorry if people have been trying to access anything on TWTY – this is just one of the annoyances of the internet age!
